The San Diego Padres go for their fourth straight win on Wednesday night when they visit the San Francisco Giants.

The San Diego Padres look to stay hot on Wednesday night when they take on the San Francisco Giants. The Padres have taken the first two games of the four-game series with the rival Giants and are looking to clinch the series win on Wednesday. They have won each of the first two games in 10 innings, as both teams have struggled to score. They won the opener 1-0 in 10 innings and then won on Tuesday 3-2 in 10 innings. The Padres have now won three in a row and seven of their last nine games to move to 35-24 on the season. They currently sit in second place in the National League West, one game back of the first place Los Angeles Dodgers. The Padres will now turn to Nick Pivetta on the mound as they go for a fourth straight win. Pivetta comes into Wednesday 6-2 with a 2.74 ERA. He has been great in his last three starts, as he has given up just four combined runs. The Padres have won his last two starts and are 8-3 with him on the mound this season.

The Giants will counter with Kyle Harrison as they look to avoid a third straight loss to the rival Padres.

Harrison will be making just his third start of the season after pitching out of the bullpen in his first four appearances.

He pitched well in his last start, as he gave up no runs on just one hit in five innings against the Miami Marlins.

They are hoping for another great outing on Wednesday as they try to snap out of their funk. The Giants have lost six of their last eight games to drop to 33-28 on the season. They are in third place in the NL West, three games back of the Padres.
