The Rangers’ offense teed off on Tuesday, hitting four home runs. Left fielder Kole Calhoun, second baseman Marcus Semien, catcher Jonah Heim and first baseman Nathaniel Lowe all went yard in the game.

Texas starter and early Cy Young candidate Martin Perez turned in another strong start. Perez threw six scoreless innings, allowing six hits while striking out six hitters.

Righty Jon Gray will look to follow that performance on Wednesday. Gray is coming off one of his best starts of the year when he allowed no runs and just five hits with six strikeouts in seven innings against the Detroit Tigers.

The other half of the starting pitching matchup is Zack Wheeler of the Phillies. Wheeler is 6-3 this year with a 2.69 ERA.

Wednesday is a getaway day for both teams, with the Phillies heading west to take on the Padres and the Rangers traveling east to face the Nationals. With that, it’ll be an early start at 4 p.m. ET.

Regional restrictions may apply.
