The Phillies took a 4-2 lead into the sixth innings with Jo Adell and Ehire Adrianza having LA’s two runs. In the bottom of the sixth inning, Philadelphia gave up two runs to Los Angeles to tie the game on a Logan O’Hoppe and a Cole Tucker RBIs. Going into the seventh inning, Adrianza scored on a wild pitch from Seranthony Dominguez that led to a throwing error by Garrett Stubbs, allowing Mike Trout to also score and take a 6-4 lead that eventually won the game.

Spencer Turnbull will get another crack in the starting rotation tonight for Philadelphia. He is undefeated this season at 2-0 with a 1.33 ERA and 30 strikeouts with 10 walks. He lasted five innings in his last start with one earned run on three hits. He struck out eight batters while walking three in a 7-4 loss to the Cincinnati Reds.
Los Angeles will start the night with Tyler Anderson on the mound. He is 2-3 in his 2024 campaign with a 1.78 ERA and 21 strikeouts with 13 walks. He went five innings in his last start with two earned runs and seven strikeouts with four walks in a 6-5 home loss against the Baltimore Orioles.
