The Philadelphia Phillies will close out their four-game series in Denver, Colorado, on Thursday afternoon in the last game on the road this week against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field. The Phillies have won three straight games in this series heading into the final game today. They took the first game 9-3 on the back of an eight-run final three innings with homers from Kyle Schwarber, Bryce Harper, and Edmundo Sosa. The second game was closer in score, though not realistically. They came away with a 7-4 win on Tuesday.

Jesus Luzardo went 6.0 innings, allowing just one earned run on two hits with 10 strikeouts in a gem. Schwarber homered again while Harper went 3-for-5 with two RBIs. Philadelphia sealed the series with a win in the third game on Wednesday night. Taijuan Walker started the game, but it was homers from Trea Turner, JT Realmuto, and Harper that propelled the team forward to a 9-5 win.

Ranger Suarez will take the mound for Philadelphia in the last game of this series. The left-hander is looking to stay undefeated, heading into this game with a 2-0 record with a 5.09 ERA. He has season totals of 17 strikeouts in 17.2 innings. He allowed three earned runs over 7.0 innings with six strikeouts in his last outing last week.

Colorado will start the game with German Marquez on the mound. The right-hander is just 1-6 this season with an 8.78 ERA and only 21 strikeouts over 40.0 innings. Marquez gave up five earned runs on seven hits in his last start which surprisingly ended in a 14-12 win for Colorado. He struck out one batter over 3.0 innings in the win.
