Falter’s last start ended in a 6-1 win against the Washington Nationals. He dominated, pitching 7.0 scoreless innings and allowing two hits with two strikeouts.

    Jose Soriano will get the start at pitcher for Los Angeles in this series-opening game. The right-hander is 2-2 this season with a 3.16 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 25.2 innings pitched. Soriano lost to the Rangers in his last start, allowing three earned runs on a massive 10 hits with just two strikeouts in 5.2 innings.
