The Pirates and Marlins will close out a four-game series on Sunday in Miami as MLB play continues.

In the fourth and final game of the opening series of the 2025 season, the Miami Marlins look to close out the series with a win against the Pittsburgh Pirates at Loan Depot Park. The Marlins have won two of the three games so far with the latest being a 5-4 win that spanned into the 12th inning on Saturday night. George Soriano earned the win and save on the mound after throwing for one inning in which he struck out one batter. The Marlins spread the scoring out amongst five different players as Xavier Edwards, Otto Lopez, Dane Meyers, Derek Hill and Kyle Stowers each finished with one RBI apiece. With some strong defensive play, the Marlins were able to rob the Pirates of several potentially game-winning hits.
