The Texas Rangers will stay on the road for the third and final game of this three-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field on Wednesday. The series is split right now with Texas winning the first game 9-3 and the second game being won by Tampa Bay 5-2. Dane Dunning was credited with the win for the Rangers in the first game with the offense being bolstered by Adolis Garcia and Josh Jung. Both homered in the game with two RBIs from Garcia and four from Jung. In the next game, Zach Eflin won the game for the Rays going 6.1 innings with one earned run. Isaac Paredes led the offensive attack for Tampa Bay with a home run and three RBIs. Yandy Diaz and Randy Arozarena both had RBIs as well. With both teams basically at .500, this game could be an even split.

Texas will head back to the start of the rotation with Nathan Eovaldi. The right-hander pitched against the Chicago Cubs in his first start of the season, going 6.0 innings and giving up two earned runs on four hits. He struck out three batters while allowing one walk on 88 pitches.
Tampa Bay will also head back up the rotation to right-hander Aaron Civale. He pitched his first start against the Toronto Blue Jays, giving up one earned run on four hits over 6.0 innings pitched. He put away six batters while only walking one on 86 total pitches on the night.
