Off their first road win in the month of May, the Tampa Bay Rays return to Fenway Park Tuesday for the second of their four-game series against the Boston Red Sox in an American League East Division matchup. The Rays have struggled on the road this season, winning just seven of their first 16 games, but did take game one of the series against the Red Sox last night 5-3 after rallying to shutout Boston in the final eight innings of the game to get the victory. Tonight, Tampa Bay turns to right hander Aaron Civale (2-3, 5.88 ERA) in search of his first win in his last six starts.

Boston will counter with veteran right-hander Nick Pivetta (1-2, 3.60 ERA), who will make his fourth start of the season off his worst outing of the year where he allowed three home runs in four innings of work in a 5-0 loss to Atlanta on Wednesday. In his fifth season with Boston, Pivetta has posted a career-best ERA and has struck out 14 batters in 15 innings pitched.
Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers leads the team with his .286 batting average and comes into tonight with at least one hit in 17 of his last 20 games with six multi-hit games in that span.
Tampa Bay has dominated this series of late, winning 12 of the last 14 meetings, including six in a row at Fenway.
