Wade Miley and the Reds will open up a three-game series against Luis Ortiz and the Guardians on Monday night.

The Cincinnati Reds will head on the road early this week, opening up a three-game series on Monday night against the Cleveland Guardians at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio. The Reds head into this series with a perfect .500 record at 33-33 through 66 games this season. They are fresh off of a sweep against the Arizona Diamondbacks over the weekend in three games. Despite that, they are still the No. 4 team in the NL Central, but they are now only two games back from the Milwaukee Brewers and 7.5 games behind the divisional-leading Chicago Cubs.

The Guardians are just over the .500 mark with a 34-30 record through 64 games throughout the 2025 season. They lost two of three games to the Houston Astros, also at home, over the weekend. Now, they are a half-game behind the Minnesota Twins and 7.5 games behind their divisional-leading Detroit Tigers.

Wade Miley will head to the mound to start this game for Cincinnati. The left-hander is looking for his first win of the season, going into this start at 0-0. Miley has started just one game this season thus far, a 9-1 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers. He lasted 2.0 innings, allowing four earned runs on six hits with no strikeouts. He will look to improve on that start here.

Cleveland will open up this three-game series in the first game with Luis Ortiz on the mound. The right-hander is 3-6 in his 2025 campaign with a 4.02 ERA and 71 strikeouts over 65.0 innings. Ortiz threw a scoreless outing in his last start, going 5.2 innings against the New York Yankees with seven strikeouts, allowing just three hits.
