The Texas Rangers go for their second straight win on Wednesday afternoon when they host the Cincinnati Reds.

The Texas Rangers wrap up a two-game homestand on Wednesday afternoon when they take on the Cincinnati Reds. The Rangers won the first game of the homestand on Tuesday when they whipped the division rival Los Angeles Angels 13-6. The win was their fourth in the last six games and improved their spring training record to 8-9. The first game of this recent streak was a win against the Reds on last Wednesday. The Rangers scored all five of their runs in the fifth inning on their way to a 5-4 victory. The big blow in that inning was a grand slam off the bat of Nick Ahmed. Ahmed now has three home runs on the spring and eight RBI. This will be the second and final meeting between the two teams this spring and the Rangers are looking to pick up the sweep of their National League Central foe.
