The Colorado Rockies will take on the Los Angeles Angels at the Tempe Diablo Stadium in Tempe, Arizona, for another game in the MLB spring training session. The Rockies are off to a fantastic 7-3 start in 11 games this preseason. After nine games in February including a draw against the San Francisco Giants, they have won and lost a game in two games this month. They lost the months opening game to the Arizona Diamondbacks by four runs, 8-4. Chase Dollander was credited with the loss.

They turned around yesterday and took down the Seattle Mariners by five runs, 6-1. Evan Justice was the winning pitcher after going one strong inning, striking out two of the three batters he faced. No player homered in the outing for Colorado, but third baseman Kyle Karros finished with two RBIs after going 1-for-1. Fourth other players finished with one RBI each.

The Angels enter this week with a 5-4 record through 10 games in this spring training session. They played eight games in February, drawing just one against the Chicago Cubs and winning four games. They also have split the first two games of March over the weekend. They won 5-0 against the Athletics in a shut out. Kyle Hendricks, the former Cub, was credited with the win after pitching three scoreless innings with three strikeouts.

No one homered in the win for Los Angeles, and four players finished with one RBI each. Jo Adell was the only one of the four to record a hit. Yesterday, they lost to the San Francisco Giants 9-5. They had 11 hits in that game, compared to just two in their shutout the day before. Jorge Soler finished with two of the 11 hits on three at-bats.
