The Los Angeles Dodgers look to sweep their fourth series of the young season as their homestand wraps up against the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday.

After dominating in the first two games of the series, the Los Angeles Dodgers conclude a six-game homestand on Wednesday night as they look to sweep their three-game series against the Colorado Rockies. 26-year-old right-hander Bobby Miller makes his 2025 debut. The Rockies own the worst record in Major League Baseball, winning just three of their first 17 games as they hope to avoid their second six-game losing streak of the young season. Colorado’s offense has been ice cold this season, having plated just five runs over their last five games and went 32 innings without scoring a run in the first four games of their six-game Southern California road trip.

In his third season in the majors, Bobby Miller was in the mix to crack the Dodgers starting rotation this season, but after taking a line drive off his head in Spring Training, the Illinois native was sidelined for a couple of weeks and began his season in Triple-A Oklahoma City as he readies to make his 36th big league start. Miller went 11-4 with a 3.76 ERA as a rookie in 2023, but had a down year last season, winning just two of his 13 starts and saw his ERA balloon to 8.52 while seeing his strikeout to walk ratio plummet from 3.7 the year before to 1.7 last season.

Dodgers catcher Will Smith ranks fifth in Major League Baseball with his team leading .367 batting average, having collected a hit in 13 of his 16 games so far this season and comes into this game on a three-game hit streak with two hits in each game. In his seventh season in the Majors, Smith is now seven RBIs away from 400 for his career.

The Rockies will start veteran right-hander German Marquez (0-2, 4.60 ERA), who is in search of his first since April 2023 after missing almost the entirety of the 2024 campaign after Tommy John surgery.

Los Angeles has won eight of the last nine games in this series, with six of the eight wins in that span coming by two or more runs.
