    The Colorado Rockies will close out this four-game series, heading into the last game against the Washington Nationals at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., on Thursday night. The Rockies have taken all three games of this series heading into the final and looking for their first, four-game sweep of the season. They now lead the season series with Washington 4-2. They took the first game on Monday with a 6-4 win on home runs from Hunter Goodman and Mickey Moniak to walk off the win in the bottom of the ninth inning.

    On Tuesday, they won 10-6, blasting four total home runs in the seventh inning alone. It started with Goodman before Michael Toglia, Sam Hilliard, and Moniak got in on the same action. Last night, on Wednesday, they won merely 3-1. German Marquez picked up the win, throwing 5.2 scoreless innings while Toglia and Jordan Beck both homered in the win.

    Chase Dollander will head to the mound to start this game for Colorado. The right-hander is looking for his third win of the season, going into this start at 2-7. He has a 6.57 ERA and 46 strikeouts over 50.2 innings. Dollander has allowed eight earned runs over his last two starts and nine total innings with seven strikeouts. He will look for a quality start to bounce back today.

    Washington will close out this series with Trevor Williams taking the mound. The right-hander is 3-8 in his 2025 campaign with a 5.71 ERA and 52 strikeouts through 69.1 innings. Williams allowed two earned runs, in his last start, on six hits with three strikeouts over 5.1 innings in a 4-3 loss to the Miami Marlins.
