San Diego Padres look to finish off a 3-game sweep of the Colorado Rockies at Petco Park on Sunday afternoon

The Los Angeles Dodgers get the headlines for their hot start, but the San Diego Padres (12-3) have quietly rolled to the best record in Major League Baseball. On Sunday, the Padres look to close out a three-game sweep of the Colorado Rockies (3-11) at Petco Park in San Diego. The Padres are fighting through several injuries and placed infielder Jake Cronenworth on the 10-day injured list on Friday with a right rib fracture. The club selected the contract of third baseman Tyler Wade from Triple-A El Paso, transferring right-hander Matt Waldron to the 60-day injured list to create a spot on the 40-man roster.
