Antonio Senzatela and the Rockies will take the mound on Thursday afternoon against Taijuan Walker and the Phillies.

The Colorado Rockies will take the field at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the final game on Thursday afternoon of this three-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies came away with a monstrous win in the first game of the series 6-1 on Monday as the team’s both took Tuesday off. It wasn’t until the seventh and eighth innings that they really started getting the offense going, but it was massive when it happened. Kyle Schwarber hit another home run as did Max Kepler and Nick Castellanos in the win.

Philadelphia made it back-to-back wins yesterday with a 5-1 win after Zack Wheeler struck out 10 batters in seven full innings. He allowed one run on three hits. Schwarber hit an RBI double in the fourth to open scoring followed by a J.T. Realmuto RBI ground out in the same inning. After allowing the Rockies to score in the seventh, they piled on more runs with an RBI single from Trea Turner and a two-run double from Edmundo Sosa.

Colorado will start with Antonio Senzatela on the mound for this series finalé. The right-hander wasn’t credited with a decision in his first start of the season. He pitched 4.1 innings, allowing no earned runs on nine hits with no strikeouts in a game that ended in a 2-1 win against the Tampa Bay Rays. He has a 0.00 ERA and a 2.54 WHIP this season.

On the opposite side, Taijuan Walker will get the ball the start the game for Philadelphia. The right-hander has yet to make a start this season. He finished his 2024 campaign with a 3-7 record and a 7.10 ERA with 58 strikeouts. He will look to improve in his 2025 season, staying in the rotation for Rob Thompson and company.
