The Orioles got a win in the opener, as Jodan Westburg hit a two-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth. The Orioles led 4-3 heading into the ninth, but closer Craig Kimbrel gave up a run in the top of the ninth. Westburg saved the day with the one-out home run and gave the Orioles their third win in the first four games of the season. Cole Irvin will make his first start of the season as he looks to keep the Orioles rolling. Irvin when 1-4 last season in 12 starts with a 4.42 ERA.

The Royals have not got off to a great start as they lost two of three to the Twins in their opening series and are now 1-3 on the season.
