How to Watch San Francisco Giants vs. Atlanta Braves: Live Stream, TV Channel, Start Time

The Giants and Braves have played two very different ballgames through the first two games of this series. Will Wednesday be a pitchers duel like Game 1 or a barn burner like Game 2?

After playing to a 2-1 pitchers duel in favor of the Braves on Monday, the Giants and Braves lit up the scoreboard on Tuesday with a 12-10 barnburner won by San Francisco. With both teams having to go deep into their bullpens in that one, could another high scoring game be in store for Game 3 of the four-game series on Wednesday?

The two teams combined for six home runs on Tuesday. Braves first baseman Matt Olson hit two, joining Roberto Ozuna and Ronald Acuña of the Braves and Joc Peterson and Austin Wynn of the Giants.

This game took its toll on both teams’ bullpens. San Francisco used six pitchers in relief, while Atlanta used four. That could be a factor in how the teams manage their starters on Wednesday.

It’ll be a big spot for Giants lefty Carlos Rondon, who is the team’s ace and was one of the biggest free agent signings this offseason. Rondon has lived up to that contract so far this season with a 6-4 record and 2.84 ERA.

On the other side, Charlie Morton gets the nod for the Braves. The righty put together a strong showing his last time out against the Cubs, allowing no runs and just three hits in seven innings while striking out nine hitters.

Regional restrictions may apply.
