Their chance to do so comes via a divisional matchup, as they visit the Chicago White Sox to begin a four-game American League Central series at Rate Field.

The Tigers come into this series rolling, after taking two of three games from the Kansas City Royals over the weekend. In total the Tigers have won six of their last seven, including a sweep of the San Francisco Giants last week.

Meanwhile, the White Sox are returning home after being on the road all of last week. They were swept by the Baltimore Orioles over the weekend. Before that they took on the New York Mets.

This week’s series will be the second of the year between the Tigers and White Sox. The first was a three-game set in Detroit back in early April. The Tigers swept that series, with wins of 7-4, 7-2, and 4-3.
