    The Astros bounced back on Wednesday night with a massive 10-2 win. Ryan Gusto was credited as the winning pitcher after starting and allowing two earned runs over six innings with seven strikeouts. It was Christian Walker that provided the boost of offense to Houston. He went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs.

    Davis Martin will head to the mound to start this game for Chicago. The right-hander is looking for his third win of the season, going into this start at 2-6. He has a 3.62 ERA and 48 strikeouts over 74.2 innings. Martin has allowed two runs or fewer in four of his last five starts. In his last outing against the Kansas City Royals he had seven strikeouts as well.

    Houston will close out this three-game series with Framber Valdez on the mound. The left-hander is 6-4 in his 2025 campaign with a 3.07 ERA and 84 strikeouts over 85 innings. Valdez is Top 10 in MLB in total wins and tied for No. 14 in the league in most strikeouts. He also has the 18th-best WHIP in MLB at 1.06.
