The Chicago Cubs host the rival Chicago White Sox on Saturday afternoon in the middle game of a three-game set. The Cubs had little trouble in the opener on Friday afternoon as they pounded out 15 hits and 13 runs to beat the White Sox 13-3. The win was the third in the last four games for the Cubs and pushed their record to 26-19 on the season. They sit in first place in the NL Central, but are being chased by a red-hot St. Louis Cardinals team. Pete Crow-Armstrong was the star of the game on Friday as he hit a home run and drove in a career-high six runs to help Cade Horton pick up a win in his first career start. Saturday the Cubs will turn to Matthew Boyd on the mound as they look to clinch another series win. Boyd comes into Saturday 3-2 with a 2.78 ERA. In his last start he gave up just two runs on six hits in six innings, but the Cubs still lost 6-2 to the New York Mets on Sunday.
