The Boston Red Sox go for their third straight win on Friday night when they take on the Chicago White Sox.
The Boston Red Sox begin a seven-game homestand on Friday night when they host the Chicago White Sox. The Red Sox come into Friday on a two-game winning streak and it has helped get them back to .500 on the season at 10-10. They have won three of four after dropping five of six. Their one loss in the last four games was a blowout, as they fell to the Tampa Bay Rays 16-1 on Monday. They put that game behind them, though, as they won 7-4 on Tuesday and then 1-0 on Wednesday to secure the series win. They were coming off a shocking series loss to the White Sox and needed to get wins against the division rival Rays. The Red Sox are now looking to avenge the losses to the White Sox as they try and open up their series with a win.
