The Chicago White Sox go for their first road win of the season in this series finale against the Boston Red Sox on Sunday.

The Boston Red Sox go for the series sweep of the Chicago White Sox on Sunday afternoon. The White Sox won the first two games in this season series back at home just last week but Boston has come back and won the last three games against Chicago. The Red Sox and White Sox are on very different trajectories right now. Boston is going for its fifth win in a row while Chicago is trying to end as six-game losing streak that dates back to that series against the Red Sox. The White Sox are just 4-16 on the season now and have the worst record in the American League. Only the Colorado Rockies have a worse record across the majors. Boston is the big -275 favorite to get the sweep in this finale.

The White Sox almost pulled off quite the upset in Game 2 on Saturday but Boston prevailed in 10 innings to win 4-3 and this series. Triston Casas played heroics hitting an RBI single in extras off the Green Monster to walk off the game. Both teams scored three runs in just one inning before the extra-innings dramatics. Rafael Devers hit a three-run bomb in the fifth and then Chicago scored three in the seventh with Luis Robert Jr. hitting a two-run shot to tie the game. With the loss, Chicago fell to 0-8 on the road which is the worst start away from home in franchise history including last season where they went 41-121.

Chicago will go for its first win of the season on the road by starting Sean Burke. The righty is trying to turn it around with a 1-3 record and a 7.56 ERA. He gave up five runs and two homers in 3.1 innings in his last start against the Athletics. Tanner Houck will go for the Red Sox as the righty goes for his first win of the season. He is 0-2 with a 9.16 ERA after giving up a staggering 11 runs in just 2.1 innings against the Tampa Bay Rays. It feels safe to say we can expect a slugfest from both teams here today.
