The New York Yankees look to stay hot on Saturday afternoon when they battle the Tampa Bay Rays. They currently sit in first place in the AL East, a game up on the Toronto Blue Jays. Saturday they will send Carlos Carrasco to the mound looking to get a sixth straight win. Carrasco comes into Saturday 2-1 with a 5.94 ERA. His best start came on Monday when he went five innings of one-run ball against the Kansas City Royals.

The Rays will counter with Shane Baz as they try and snap a four-game losing streak and get a much-needed win over the Yankees.

Baz has pitched great this season as he comes into Saturday 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA. He has pitched at least six innings in each start and has given up just three combined runs in three starts.

In his last start he went six innings and gave up just two hits and a run while striking out 11 in a win over the Boston Red Sox.

The four straight losses has dropped the Rays to 8-12 on the season adn has them in last place in the AL East. They are a half game back of the Baltimore Orioles and two and a half back of the Red Sox.
