Carlos Rodon picked up win No. 4 on the season after pitching 6.0 innings allowing one earned run on six hits with six strikeouts and no walks. The Twins opened scoring in the bottom of the first inning with a home run from Ryan Jeffers. New York bounced back in the top of the second inning with two runs. Giancarlo Stanton homered in the top of the third inning to put New York up 3-1. Alex Verdugo added more to the score with a two-run, RBI double in the top of the fourth inning, scoring Aaron Judge and Juan Soto. Minnesota will look to bounce back and even the series tonight.
