Marcelo Mayer – Wrist (D10) – The Red Sox placed INF Marcelo Mayer on the 10-day injured list due to a sprained right wrist.
Patrick Sandoval – Elbow (D60) – The Boston Red Sox placed LHP Patrick Sandoval on the 60-day injured list as he recovers from his Tommy John surgery.

Alec Marsh – Shoulder (D60) – The Kansas City Royals placed RHP Alec Marsh on the 60-day injured list while rehabbing his injured right shoulder. Has been shut down since end of June with more shoulder soreness and will receive an injection week of July 21.
James McArthur – Elbow (D60) – The Kansas City Royals transferred RHP James McArthur to the 60-day injured list due to an elbow olecranon surgery. Suffered setback in July when he underwent another procedure to remove the second screw that was put in during offseason elbow surgery.
Cole Ragans – Rotator Cuff (D60) – The Kansas City Royals transferred LHP Cole Ragans to the 60-day injured list with a left rotator cuff strain. Ragans is on a consistent throwing program in Kansas City, with everything feeling well so far.
Kris Bubic – Rotator Cuff (D60) – The Kansas City Royals transferred LHP Kris Bubic from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day injured list with a left rotator cuff strain.
Jac Caglianone – Hamstring (D10) – The Kansas City Royals placed OF Jac Caglianone on the 10-day injured list with left hamstring strain.
