The Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels tangle for the last time in Arizona this spring when they meet Wednesday.

The World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers (7-6) face-off with their Interleague rivals, the Los Angeles Angels (5-6) for the second and final time in Arizona this spring when they meet at Tempe Diablo Stadium on Wednesday. The teams will close out their exhibition schedules later this month with the three-game Freeway Series at their own stadiums from March 25-27.

Dodgers catcher Will Smith is day-to-day after being removed from Tuesday’s game with knee soreness, while Angels Luis Rengifo (hamstring) and Taylor Ward (knee) are expected to be back in the lineup soon.

The Angels traded for outfielder Jorge Soler, who hit 21 home runs for the San Francisco Giants and Atlanta Braves last season, and added free agents Yusei Kikuchi and Kyle Hendricks to the rotation and Kenley Jansen to the bullpen. They also signed catcher Travis d’Arnaud and infielder Yoán Moncada.

Left-hander Reid Detmers makes his third start for the Halos on Wednesday after allowing two earned runs in five innings so far.
