Yesterday, the Rangers struck first with a solo home run from Marcus Semien in the top of the third. However, a big fourth inning from the Mets proved to be too much for the Rangers.

Mark Canha started the scoring in the fourth inning with an RBI single down the third-base line. Eduardo Escobar followed with a three-run homer to the second deck in right field to extend the lead to three.

Nathaniel Lowe got one back for the Rangers in the top of the fifth with a solo shot to right field. Adolis García brought the game within one for the Rangers with an RBI groundout in the top of the sixth, but the Rangers could not find the tying run and lost the game.

With two more games in the series, the Rangers will be looking to bounce back and at least tie the series with today’s game, if not win it with the combination of today’s and tomorrow’s.

    Regional restrictions may apply.
