The Orioles improved their record to 44-44 on the season by beating the Cubs. It was also their ninth consecutive win, their longest winning streak since 1999.
Third baseman Ramon Urias was the star of the team on Tuesday. He went 3-for-4 with a home run and two runs driven in.
Righty Spenser Watkins will look to keep the momentum going for the Orioles as the team’s Wednesday starter. In his most recent start, Watkins allowed four hits and just one run in 6.2 innings against the Rangers.
Watkins will be opposed by lefty Justin Steele of the Cubs. Steele is also coming off a strong outing, having allowed one run on just two hits while striking out nine hitters in 6.2 innings against the Brewers.
