The Rays managed just two runs in the season opener on Thursday in an 8-2 loss, but they bounced back on Friday to get an 8-2 win over their own to even the series. Brandon Lowe go the scoring started for the Rays as he hit a grand slam in the bottom of the third to erase a 1-0 deficit. Aaron Civale would make sure the lead held as he went six inning of one-run ball to pick up the win. Zack Little will take the ball to start the third game of the series on Saturday. He went 3-6 with a 3.93 ERA last season.

The Blue Jays will counter with Yusei Kikuchi as they look to clinch at least a series tie. Kikuchi was good last year and went 11-6 with a 3.84 ERA.
He started four games against the Rays last season and the Blue Jays went 3-1 in those starts. The last of those starts was in the postseason when the Blue Jays won 11-4.
They are hoping for much of the same success on Saturday afternoon as they look to get another big road win to start the season.
