After consecutive 1-0 home wins to open the 2025 Major League Soccer season, the Los Angeles Football Club hits the road for the first time on Saturday afternoon as they take on take on the Seattle Sounders in a Western Conference tilt. Seattle opened the 2025 campaign with a 2-2 home draw against Charlotte before suffering its first loss at Real Salt Lake last weekend and now look to get its second consecutive win against LAFC after defeating the Black & Gold in the Western Conference semifinals back in late-November. LAFC has left Seattle with points in four straight meetings having held the Sounders scoreless in three consecutive matches at Lumen Field.

LAFC Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has posted consecutive clean sheets to open the 2025 campaign and has allowed just one goal in his last six MLS appearances dating back to last season. Lloris, in his second year with the club, spent 12 seasons in net for Tottenham Hotspur of the English Premier League where he captained his side to a Champions League runner-up in 2018. In a 15-year run, Lloris appeared in 145 matches across all competitions for the French National Team winning a World Cup in 2018 and finishing runner-up in 2022.

Sounders forward Jordan Morris has two goals in the first two games this season a year after scoring a career-high 13 with Seattle during the 2024 regular season. A Seattle native, Morris won an NCAA title at Stanford and has scored 11 goals for the U.S. National Team since making his debut in 2014. The 30-year-old Morris has 86 goals across all competitions for Seattle since 2016.

In the last seven head-to-head meetings in this series, LAFC has scored the first goal in all seven matches and has held Seattle to one goal or less in 10 of the last 11 fixtures across all competitions.
