The Los Angeles Rams travel to Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers in Week 11's Monday Night Football showdown. Jared Goff and Aaron Donald would love to avenge their loss to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LIII. While they aren't playing the Pats, this will be the first time the Rams face Brady since that championship at the top of 2019.
The Rams didn't make the playoffs after that Super Bowl appearance and Brady is trying to prove he can win without Bill Belichick after the Patriots had an earlier than expected playoff exit last year. Both have something to prove and both teams have largely been executing so far this season.
The Rams are near the top of their division and with a win against the Bucs, they will have the same 7-3 record as the Seahawks who are leading the division after beating the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night. The Rams will have the tie-breaker as they beat the Seahawks in convincing fashion last week.
The Buccaneers on the other hand rebounded last week against Carolina after a 38-3 drubbing at the hands of the New Orleans Saints on Sunday Night Football two weeks ago. The Bucs need this one to show that they still should be considered to be part of the elite teams in the NFC. Either way, both of these teams should make the playoffs barring any injuries. These teams are good but winning this game would go a long way to showing us that they're great.
