He is off to a terrific start this season, winning the first three races on the calendar and finishing in second place in the most recent. Bezzecchi is in search of his first championship in the MotoGP series. Francesco Bagnaia will be on the pole for this race. It is his first pole of the season as he looks for his first win of the 2026 season. The first row will feature Bagnaia, Marc Marquez, and Bezzecchi.

Bezzecchi finished 14th from the seventh starting position. (Alex) Marquez did not finish the race after an accident. Quartanano started in pole position, but also did not finish the race after being involved in an accident.
