Alex and Marc Marc Marquez lead the MotoGP series to France for the Michelin Grand Prix de France for the French motorcycle Grand Prix.

The MotoGP series heads to France for the Michelin Grand Prix de France and the only race in the country this season. Heading into this race the Marquez brothers, Alex and Marc have won four of the first five races of the season. Alex won his first race of the season in the last Grand Prix in Spain. His brother Marc won the first two races and three overall to take the lead over his brother and a commanding lead over the rest of the field. Those two have gone head-to-head trading wins through the first five races of the season.

Last year Jorge Martin won this race with Marc, Francesco Bagnaia, Enea Bastianini and Maverick Vinales rounding out the top five. That was Martin’s first win in this race and the fifth straight year a first time driver won the Michelin Grand Prix de France.

Marc has won this race four times over the years. Three times on the MotoGP series and once on the Moto2 series. His last win on this track came in 2019. With another win he will tie Angel Nieto for the third most wins in this race.

Fabio Quartararo is on the pole for the second straight race as he tries to crack through with his first win of the season. He is coming off his best finish of the season coming off the pole with a second place finish Estrella Galicia Grand Prix of Spain.
