NBC brings us the Straight Talk Wireless 400 at 2:30 p.m. ET. Sunday’s Straight Talk Wireless 400 NASCAR Cup Series event marks the 25th race hosted by Homestead-Miami Speedway in the series’ history. The 1.5-mile, banked oval located in Homestead, Florida has an asphalt racing surface with 18-20 degree variable banking, 3 degrees on the front and back stretch. The track first opened in 1993, the Cup Series held its inaugural race in 1999 with Tony Stewart as the winner. Christopher Bell comes into the race looking to hold on to his slim lead at the top of the season’s standings. Bell currently sits in the top spot with 4,086 points with three wins and 13 top-five finishes.

He is just seven points up on second place Kyle Larson who currently has 4,079 points and a season-best six wins.

He holds a narrow lead on second place as William Byron is right behind him with 4,071 points. Byron has also won three races this season and is tied with Joey Lagano, Denny Hamlin and Bell for the second most wins this season.

Logano, Bell, Larson and Byron are all sitting on the right side of the line in the playoffs, while Hamlin, Tyler Reddick, Ryan Blaney and Chase Elliott are all on the bubble. Logano is locked into the Championship 4 after winning last week.

Bell will also be looking for his second straight Straight Talk Wireless 400 win as he won last year. Larson won it in 2022 and Byron took home the crown in 2021.
