Those four are all on the bubble, looking up at A.J. Almendinger, who sits in eighth place just seven points ahead of that quartet. With a win, any of those four of those drivers would secure a spot in the Round of 8 of the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs.

Heading into this race Chandler Smith (2,155) has a strong lead over the rest of the field and is effectively locked into the Round of 8. He has two wins overall this season, both before All-Star Weekend. Over his last seven races Smith has finished top eight in all, top five in six, including both playoff races so far.

The rest of the playoff field features Cole Custer and Austin Hill (2,095 points) tied for second place, Sheldon Creed (2,090 points) in fourth, rookie Jesse Love (2,080 points) and Riley Herbst (2,078 points) all looking to move on to the next round.
