How to Watch Wright Brand 250, Practice: Stream NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Live, TV Channel

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series returns to North Wilkesboro Speedway’s short track, with practice for the Wright Brand 250 on Friday.

For just the fourth time in the long, checkered history of the North Wilkesboro Speedway in North Carolina, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series takes to the 0.625-mile oval this weekend for the Wright Brand 250. Practice for the race roars into action Friday afternoon. Kyle Larson, a full-time driver on the NASCAR Cup Series, won last year’s race but is not in the field this year. Ross Chastain, who also drives full-time in the Cup Series, looks for his second straight Truck Series victory after winning at Darlington last weekend. Larson’s absence from the field means a fourth different driver will win at North Wilkesboro after Mike Bliss’ victory in 1995 and Mark Martin’s run to the checkered flag in 1996.

Chastain’s win at Darlington leaves four Truck Series drivers provisionally qualified for this fall’s playoffs. Christian Eckes and Corey Heim each own two victories in nine starts this season while Nick Sanchez and Rajah Caruth hold the other two spots. The Wright Brand 250 runs Saturday afternoon after morning qualifying.

Eckes comes to North Wilkesboro with a 14-point lead over Heim in the driver standings. Sanchez stands third, 57 points behind, followed by Ty Majeski (61 points back). The remainder of the top 10 includes Taylor Gray (90 points behind), Caruth (111 points), Tyler Ankrum (112 points), Matt Crafton (154 points), Tanner Gray (159 points) and defending series champion Ben Rhodes (162 points).

Larson needed two laps of overtime to win last year — when the race was known as the Tyson 250. Larson finished 0.974 seconds faster than Majeski and led 138 of the 252 laps. Rhodes crashed out of the race on lap 203.
