How to Watch Dallas Mavericks at Milwaukee Bucks; New Orleans Pelicans at Los Angeles Lakers
With James Harden moving to the Brooklyn Nets, can LeBron and the Lakers continue to earn the title as the NBA's best team?

The shift of power in the NBA has moved incredibly to the East as James Harden has joined a superteam in Brooklyn. While they have a long way to prove that they can gel, let alone become the best team in the league, on paper at least the Nets are the team to beat in the Eastern Conference.

Dallas Mavericks at Milwaukee Bucks

Of course the Milwaukee Bucks will have a lot to say about that as they finished with the Conferences best regular season record last year and the Miami Heat represented the East in the Finals.

Not to mention the Bucks are starting the season off well sitting at 8-4 and are second in the Eastern Conference standings only behind the Boston Celtics. Giannis Antetokounmpo is defending his back-to-back MVP seasons well as he's put up triple-doubles in his last two games after coming back from a minor back injury.

Jrue Holiday is meshing well offensively on his new team since being traded in the offseason from the Pelicans. This has opened up Khris Middleton's production especially from an assist perspective. Milwaukee might not have as flashy of names as they do in Brooklyn but they have a core of three who already has proven they can gel.

They tip-off against the Dallas Mavericks who are going for their fourth straight road win. Going into their last game against Charlotte, COVID-19 had decimated this team. They hadn't practiced in a week and they didn't play for four days. They also didn't have five players at their disposal. What they did have was the season debut of Kristap Porzingis and they won handedly over the Hornets. Along with Luka Doncic, this consistent pairing with Porzingis is all we've wanted to see how legitimate this team is. Now with Harden out of Houston and the Spurs uncharacteristically average, it will be interesting to see if the Mavericks can become the best team in Texas again.

New Orleans Pelicans at Los Angeles Lakers

The Pelicans have a tough double-header staying in LA's Staples Center playing the Clippers and Lakers in consecutive games. The biggest story from the Clips 111-106 win over the Pelicans was that Zion Williamson sat out that game. He missed that matchup because he had a inconclusive COVID-19 test. It is not certain he will miss more than one game. The Pelicans need him back soon because they have dropped their last four and have seen their promising 4-2 start slip away. They are also missing Eric Bledsoe and Lonzo Ball who are listed as day-t0-day. It doesn't help that they are facing off against the best team in basketball.

What TV Channel is Pelicans-Lakers on?

Pelicans-Lakers will be shown on ESPN at 10:30 p.m. ET. You can live stream the NBA games on fuboTV.

That would be the Lakers and they have not missed a step since winning it all last October. Heck, LeBron James doesn't even need to look at the basket to nail threes anymore.

They are 10-3 but surprisingly enough all of their losses have come at home. If the Pels are going to have any shot they need to take advantage of that fact. In the Lakers last three games though, they've absolutely dominated where their smallest margin of victory was 17 points. To start the season, no one has even been in the same tier as the Lakers. Now that James Harden has joined the Nets to team up with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, they might finally have some competition for the title of the league's best team. A lot has to happen still for those tides to turn from Los Angeles.
