The Atlanta Hawks (30-34) have started the month of March with a homestand. Atlanta is halfway through a six-game stretch at State Farm Arena. After losing the first game 127-121 to the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday, the Hawks hosted the Indiana Pacers on both Thursday and Saturday. They won each of those games by narrow margins, with final scores of 124-118 and 120-118. They’ll now get back at it on Monday, trying to improve to 3-1 on the homestand as the Philadelphia 76ers come to down.

This homestand is a great chance for the Hawks to improve their playoff positioning. They’re part of a group of four teams close to each other in the standings in position for the play-in tournament. Entering Monday they’re in seventh place in the Eastern Conference, half of a game up on both the Orlando Magic and Miami Heat. They’re also five games behind the Detroit Pistons for the final outright playoff spot.

Philly enters Monday as the final team out of the play-in tournament. The Sixers are three and a half games behind the Bulls for the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference.

The Sixers come into this game off of a win, and are also playing the second half of a home-road back-to-back. They hosted the Utah Jazz on Sunday and won 126-122 behind 25 points from Lonnie Walker.
