Parker Jackson-Cartwright and the New Zealand Breakers will take the court against Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night.

The New Zealand Breakers will head on the road taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Thursday night. The Thunder head into this third game of the preseason with a 1-1 record through their first two games. They opened up the season with a 112-107 win over the San Antonio Spurs on the road. Ajay Mitchell, the 25-year-old from Santa Barbara, led the team with 19 points in 24 minutes off the bench. He had one more point than Jalen Williams, who finished with 18 points and four rebounds with three assists. Dillon Jones, from Weber State, had 17 points with three rebounds.

They lost their second game in overtime against the Houston Rockets at home 122-113. Williams once again led the team with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Both players had 15 points with SGA also having six assists. Adam Flagler is getting off to a cold start with just three points in each of his first two games.

The Breakers have been on a road trip around the United States. They opened up with a 116-87 loss in Utah against the Jazz before heading to Philadelphia to take on the 76ers and lost 139-84. This is their last game on their US tour and the team is still looking to win its first game against an NBA team on foreign soil.

In the team’s loss to the Jazz, Parker Jackson-Cartwright led the team with 16 points on 7-of-16 shooting from the field with nine assists in 22 minutes. Karim Lopez came off the bench and played 25 minutes, scoring 13 points with a team-high seven rebounds and three assists. Jackson-Cartwright had 26 points against the 76ers as well to lead New Zealand.
