How to Watch Nets at Pelicans: Stream NBA Live, TV Channel

The New Orleans Pelicans look to snap a four-game losing streak against the Brooklyn Nets on Monday.

This season has been full of injuries and challenges for the New Orleans Pelicans (3-7), but they could get some good news with the return of Trey Murphy III. The fourth year wing could make his season debut after missing the first 10 games of the season with a hamstring injury. Murphy is coming off a career-best season where he averaged 14.8 points and 4.9 rebounds per game on 38 percent shooting from three-point range. If Murphy III is available to make his season debut it will come against the Brooklyn Nets (4-6), who have lost back-to-back games. New Orleans could use Murphy III in the lineup with Zion Williamson (hamstring), Dejounte Murray (hand), CJ McCollum (adductor), Herb Jones (shoulder) and Jordan Hawkins (back) all out with injuries.

New Orleans struggled to muster any offense in its last game with six of the team’s seven core rotation players all out of the lineup. Brandon Boston Jr. led the team with 26 points, one off his career-high and sixth career game of at least 20 points since being drafted in 2021.

Heading into this game Brooklyn has played in three straight games decided by five points or less. The last two have been losses against two of the best teams in the league, losing in overtime to the defending champion Boston Celtics (108-104) and to the undefeated Cleveland Cavaliers (105-100).

The backcourt of Cam Thomas and Denis Schroder have been the catalyst for Brooklyn’s early season success. Thomas is 13th in the league in scoring with 25.2 points per game, while Schroder has continued his success from the Olympics, averaging 20.1 points and 6.6 assists per game.
