Kyle Kuzma is expected to make his Milwaukee Bucks debut when they take on the Atlanta Hawks on Friday.

The Milwaukee Bucks might not have made the biggest trade at the deadline but they did snag an impactful one with Kyle Kuzma coming over from the Washington Wizards effectively for Khris Middleton. The later became one of the best players in Milwaukee history and was a huge reason the Bucks won the NBA Finals in 2021. But the Bucks are moving on and get younger and less injury prone by adding Kuzma who was stuck in Washington who still have not one double digit games. Kuzma is expected to make his Bucks debut against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night. Milwaukee will be the -6.5-point favorite even on the road tonight.

Milwaukee is coming off a 112-102 win on the road against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday. It was a nice bounce back for the Bucks that ended a four-game losing streak. Damian Lillard led the game with 29 points and he added 12 assists. Bobby Portis played his first game since Jan. 23 and played impressively scoring 23 points and adding an amazing 17 rebounds. Giannis Antetokounmpo was scratched right before tip-off with left calf soreness. He is listed as a game-time decision in Atlanta tonight.

The Hawks have lost four of their last five games and are trying to bounce back from a tough one-point loss against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday. Victor Wembanyama hit the first free throw to go up one and break the tie with 2.4 seconds left but intentionally missed the second attempt. The missed shot forced Atlanta and eventually Trae Young to attempt a desperation three from behind half court that he eventually missed. Young did lead the game with 32 points. Atlanta played much better in the second half but it wasn’t enough to come back from a slow start in the first half. A quick start is imperative to defend home court for Atlanta tonight.
