Tyler Herro and the Miami Heat will host Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers for Game 4 of the first round of the NBA playoffs on Monday.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have set themselves up for success in the first round of the NBA playoffs by taking a 3-0 lead against the Miami Heat. Going into Game 4 on Monday night, the Cavs will look to complete the sweep and move into the second round in which they will play either the Indiana Pacers or the Milwaukee Bucks. The Pacers are currently leading the series 3-1.
Miami lost the first game by 21 points before keeping Cleveland relatively close in Game 2, losing 121-112. On Saturday night, however, the team struggled, falling in a big 124-87 defeat. Heat standout Bam Adebayo led the team with 22 points and narrowly missed a double-double with a team-leading nine rebounds, but with Tyler Herro being shut down offensively, the team struggled to produce offensively and dropped another game. The team’s chances of coming back from a 3-0 deficit in the series is slim.

Cleveland has dominated in the series and Donovan Mitchell is leading the charge. In the first two games Mitchell scored 30 points in each, but Miami shut him down in Game 3 and held him to just 13 points. The Cavaliers were able to spread the scoring around on Sunday, however, and the offense was led by Jarrett Allen and De’Andre Hunter, who scored 22 and 21 points, respectively. With six players scoring in double figures, the Heat did not have an answer for the depth that the Cavs have to rely on. Allen also led Cleveland on the boards with 10 rebounds to earn a double-double in the win, along with Ty Jerome who finished the game with 13 points and 11 assists.
Cleveland will look to those same six players to spread the scoring out on Monday night and keep the Heat guessing. Tune in at 7:30 p.m. ET to see if the Heat can extend the series to one more game or if the Cavaliers will close things out in Miami and prepare for Milwaukee or Indiana.
