In the 133-129 overtime game Portland came back from being down by 12 points at the half and 10 points in the fourth quarter. Deni Avdija played his best game of the season with 30 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, shooting 8-of-13 overall and 13-of-13 from the free-throw line.
De’Andre Hunter led the way for Cleveland with 32 points and seven rebounds on 5-of-9 shooting from three. Ty Jerome came off the bench to support his former college teammate with 25 points, six assists, six steals and five rebounds.
Since being acquired this season Hunter has led Cleveland to a 16-4 record, averaging 14.2 points on 47.7 percent shooting from three. This game is important for both teams, as Cleveland tries to hold onto the No. 1 seed in the east and Portland attempts to sneak into one of the final seeds out west.
