The Cleveland Cavaliers go for their 60th win of the season when they host the LA Clippers on Sunday afternoon.

The Los Angeles Clippers go for the season series sweep against the best team in the East, when they travel to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday. These two played less than two weeks ago when the Clippers pulled away in the fourth quarter to pull off a big upset. Kawhi Leonard led the game with 33 points to hand the Cavaliers rare back-to-back losses. The tides will turn now that Cleveland is hosting this game but the Clippers once again have a chance to hand the Cavs consecutive losses after they lost to the Detroit Pistons on Friday 133-122 to end a three-game winning streak. The Clippers have also one four of its last five so expect this one to be a close game, especially since LA is trying to close the gap for fifth place. The Clippers sit two games behind the Memphis Grizzlies for that spot in the West.

The win by the Pistons on Friday against the Cavs must have been a cathartic one because Detroit secured its first winning season since 2016 by beating the best team in the conference. The Pistons have tripled their win total from last season after they only won 14 games. Tim Hardaway Jr. scored a season-high 32 points and the Pistons were able to overcome a game-high 38 points from Donovan Mitchell. Detroit avoided a season series sweep with the win, that the Cavs won 3-1. The Cavaliers are now a victory away from their first 60-win season since 2009-10.

LA is going for its third win in a row after dominating the Brooklyn Nets on Friday winning 132-100 on the road. The Clippers have now won 10 of their last 12 games. LA shot 55 percent from the field and an astounding 51.4 percent from three. Leonard once again led the club with a game-high 31 points. The Clippers swept both New York teams with the win against Brooklyn. LA was only up one after the first quarter but outscored the Nets by 21 in the second and they never looked back. This team is doing special things now that it is healthy.
