Utah is coming off a win though that ended a three-game losing streak when it beat the Lakers at home on Wednesday, 131-119. Lauri Markkanen led the way with a game-high 32 points and a season-high three steals. Utah went on a 22-2 run that opened up the game after it was relatively close at the half. The Jazz have won three of their last four games at home, which equals their total number of wins in Salt Lake City after their first 20 home games to start the season. Utah avoided the sweep in the season finale against the Lakers in the process. It will look to do the exact same thing against the Clippers tonight.

LA is coming off a huge win over the second place Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday by a 128-114 final. Having Kawhi Leonard back has been a huge boost for this squad, as he scored 25 points to lead the team. James Harden and Norman Powell both had 18 in the win that was highlighted by a 23-2 run to put away the game. New Clippers signee Ben Simmons could make his debut with the team in tonight’s game. LA is now in sixth place in the West and holds a one-game lead over the Minnesota Timberwolves. This game should provide a little more cushion in those standings.
