The LA Clippers go for the 2-0 season-series sweep against the Orlando Magic on Monday night.

The LA Clippers go for the season-series sweep in the final game against the Orlando Magic on Monday. These two played back in LA in November and the Clippers won at home 104-93. James Harden had a game-high 24 points and the Clippers extended their home winning streak to six games showing how much their new arena gave them home court advantage. The Clippers fell down to the eighth seed in the West with Golden State and Minnesota leapfrogging them over the weekend. The good news for LA is that its only one game back from the sixth seed. LA is the slight 2.5-point favorite on the road tonight. The Magic won’t be an easy out though as they’ve won four of their last five games.

The Clippers will be playing on back-to-back nights after falling to the Cleveland Cavaliers 127-122 on the road Sunday just missing a three-game winning streak. Norman Powell led all scorers with 34 points but it wasn’t enough to overcome the best team in the East who earned their 60th win of the season. Cleveland was fueled by 25 from Jarrett Allen and 24 from Donovan Mitchell. The later scored his sixth double-double of the season which is tied for the most in his eight-year career. The good news for the Clippers tonight is that this game against the Magic will end their four-game road trip.

Orlando is coming off a huge 121-91 win over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday. Paolo Banchero scored 24 points to lead the game but what was even more impressive is that he did that in three quarters. Franz Wagner was right behind with 21 and Caleb Houston had a great night hitting six of seven three-point attempts to end the game with 18 points. Orlando tied Atlanta for seventh place in the East with the win.
