This is the fourth game of this five-game season series with the Hawks holding a 2-1 advantage. Atlanta got the first two wins, but the Knicks got on the board last month winning at MSG, 119-110, with Jalen Brunson leading the way with 34 points. Trae Young wasn’t too far behind him with 27, so expect these two All-Stars to lead the narrative once again tonight.

The Knicks got back in the win column after a blowout against the Boston Celtics by beating the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday 128-115. It was Karl-Anthony Towns stepping up to take the spotlight this time, scoring 40 points and 12 rebounds and Josh Hart added 30 points and 10 rebounds. They helped New York overcome the absence of OG Anunoby and Brunson, who was in consistent foul trouble. Anunoby is listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s game.

The Hawks are flying high right now, winning three in a row and four of their last five after the team lost eight games straight. Atlanta is coming off a 112-106 win over the Orlando Magic on Monday. Young led the Hawks with only 19 points compared to the Magic’s leading scorer Franz Wagner who had 37. But Atlanta had a much more well rounded performance with 11 of those 19 points from Young coming in the fourth quarter. Young had 35 points and 14 assists against Washington in his previous game, but struggled for most of the game against the Magic. He will need to get off to a much quicker start for the Hawks to pull off this upset on the road tonight.
