The Atlanta Hawks go for their third win in a row when they travel to take on the Orlando Magic on Monday night.
After a four-game losing streak, the Orlando Magic have won two of their last three games when they host the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night. This will be the first of four games in this season series between the Hawks and Magic. Only a half-game separates these two in the Southwest standings with both teams being very close to the top-seeded Miami Heat. Currently the Magic sit in eighth in the Eastern Conference standings while Atlanta is in ninth. Orlando is the 5.5-point favorite at home tonight.

The Magic are coming off a thrilling 112-111 victory at home against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday after a six-game road trip where they went 1-5. The Magic were down most of the game against San Antonio but Paolo Banchero came up clutch. Banchero hit a 15-foot shot jumper to grab the go-ahead basket. The Spurs had a chance to win the game with the last shot but Victor Wembanyama missed the mid-range jumper for Orlando to hold on to the victory. Franz Wagner led the club with 33 points. This should be another evenly matched game against Atlanta.
The Hawks are going for their third win in a row after a 125-111 win over the Washington Wizards on Saturday. Washington has still yet to reach double digits in the win column and after the second half of this game against Atlanta, the Wizards weren’t all that close to changing that. Trae Young played phenomenally with 35 points and 14 assists. Atlanta held Washington to just 25 percent shooting from three. The challenge will be a lot tougher tonight though especially as this three-game road trip continues.
