The Atlanta Hawks look to shake things up on Saturday evening when they travel to take on the Indiana Pacers. The Hawks are hoping to end a seven-game losing streak today after they had won three in a row. Atlanta has fallen four games below .500 in the process and it will be the 7.5-point underdog as this road trip against the Central division continues. This will be the first time the Hawks and Pacers play this season. The Hawks are coming off a loss against the best team in the league, dropping to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday, 137-115.

The Cavs nearly shot at 60 percent from the field and All-Stars Darius Garland and Evan Mobley led the charge with 26 and 16 points scored respectively. It should be noted that Atlanta’s No. 1 overall pick Zaccharie Risacher led all scorers with 30 on the night. Surprisingly it was Cleveland’s first win over the Hawks in the finale of this three-game season series. Trae Young relatively struggled though missing 11 of 16 shots to end the night with 15 points and 10 assists. They’ll need a lot bigger showing against Indiana tonight to break this streak.

Indiana is playing very well lately winning 10 of its last 12 games and are going for its third win in a row. Indiana came back from Paris, France after a split double header against the San Antonio Spurs and beat the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday 133-119. Pascal Siakam dominated with 37 points and Tyrese Haliburton backed him up by putting up 30 with eight assists. Indiana shot nearly 57 percent from the field in the comfortable win. This team is a far cry away from its 10-15 start to the season only losing two games in January. It’s likely the month of February starts off just as fortuitous for the Pacers.
