The Pistons were able to overcome a game-high 32 points from Kevin Porter Jr. The win was actually a milestone victory for the Pistons. It ended a 15-game losing streak to Milwaukee in Detroit. The Pistons went on a 13-3 run to start the third, and they never really looked back, leading by 10 to start the fourth. Milwaukee had won 13 in a row against the Pistons to start the season, but Detroit has won two of three against the Bucks since. Milwaukee has struggled mightily lately, losing 10 of its last 12.

Atlanta got a solid road win against the Wizards last week, on the shoulders of Jalen Johnson who scored a triple-double in back-to-back games. It was his fourth of the season, with Johnson scoring a game-high 30 points, while adding 12 rebounds and 12 assists. In that previous game against Denver, Johnson put up 21 points, 18 rebounds and 16 assists. He will likely need something close to those performances if the Hawks are going to pull off this upset on the road. That is because Trae Young and Kristaps Porzingis are not expected to suit up until Dec. 14 at the earliest.
